Frequently asked questions
Will there be parking available at the venue?
Parking for cars not on show is available on site.
Is there a designated area for medical assistance or emergencies?
Yes, there will be a designated first aid and medical assistance area on-site. If you or someone you know requires medical attention, please contact event staff immediately.
Parking on site
For use of car parks and parking areas: Please be aware that vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner's own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents while they are driven or parked on site. As this is a showground and field, please exercise caution. You chose to enter our site at your own risk.
Driving on site and in general
We’ve paid a hefty deposit on the venue to make sure it stays in good condition. Therefore, if we catch anyone drifting or driving antisocially, you will be removed from the event. Please be careful when leaving the showground and be considerate to our neighbours.
Can I bring a BBQ to the event?
No, BBQs are not permitted anywhere on the event site, including club stands and general display areas.
There are several important reasons:
Fire Risk: The event takes place in a rural, grassy setting which poses a high fire risk—especially in dry weather.
Insurance & Safety Regulations: Our event insurance and venue safety guidelines strictly prohibit open flames no managed by event staff or venue staff.
Public Safety: With thousands of attendees and tightly packed vehicles, BBQs present a serious safety hazard.
🚫What happens if someone brings a BBQ anyway?
Security will ask for any BBQs to be packed away immediately. Continued non-compliance will result in removal from the event.
🐾 Can I bring my dog or pet to the event?
Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome at Takeover 2025—but they must be kept on a lead at all times while on site.
🦴 Are there any rules I need to follow when bringing a pet?
Absolutely! To keep the event enjoyable and safe for everyone, please ensure:
Pets are on a lead at all times
You bring waste bags and clean up any mess immediately
Your pet is comfortable in a busy, noisy environment with cars, people, and music
🚫 What if someone doesn’t clean up after their pet?
Leaving pet mess is not acceptable. Anyone failing to clean up after their animal will be asked to leave the site. Let’s keep the venue clean and respectful for all attendees.
🐶 Will there be anything for pets at the event?
